Daniel Lee Cozad, of St. Marys, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Ohio Health in Van Wert, Ohio.

He was born on August 4, 1986, in Van Wert, Ohio to Tamie and Larry Cozad Jr., who survive in Van Wert.

Daniel is also survived by his beloved son Joshua Andrew Lee Cozad; brother, Dustin (Brandi) Cozad of Van Wert; sister, Brittany Cozad of Poneto, IN; 3 nieces; 2 nephews and 1 great niece

Known for loving life and being a natural guy. Daniel was an avid hunter and fisherman. If he wasn't outdoors, then he could be often found shooting pool. He also enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes. Daniel also graduated from Vantage Career Center. He then went on to work at Wal-Mart and Verizon.

He was preceded in death by an aunt Rita Blossom.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
