Dallas Glenn Gandy, 63, of Paulding, passed away at 10:08 a.m., Friday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

He was born on February 8, 1955, in Harlingen, Texas, the son of the late Frances (Adams) Loyer and Malcolm Gandy who survives in Panacea, Florida. Dallas was also preceded in death by his step-father, Franklin J. Loyer. On September 6, 1975, he married the former Lorelei A. Harshman who survives in Paulding

Other family survivors include two daughters, Trinity Harshman of Payne, Ohio and Jammie Gandy of Paulding; four grandchildren, Zachary D. Harshman, Audrey E. Smith, Daleigh Davis and Karrlie Grubb; a great grandson, Landyn Harshman; a brother, Robert O. Gandy of Houston, Texas; and a sister, Donna Gandy of Panacea, Florida.

Dallas was a 1973 graduate of Van Wert High School and retired from Tomco Plastics in Bryan, Ohio.

Services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor James Langhan officiating. There will be calling hours 5 - 7 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.
