Connie Cowgill, 75, of Findlay, passed away at 2:45 p.m., Monday October 24, 2016 at the Bridge Hospice in Findlay. She was born on February 11, 1941, in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Virgil L. Chaney and Mary E. (Hoffman) Keith. She was also preceded in death by her step father, Milo J. Keith. Family survivors include her husband, Donald Cowgill, who she married on May 1, 1960; three daughters, Karen (Scott) Hunter of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Lisa (Dustin) Wilson of Findlay, and Lora Robosky of Findlay; a brother, Harold E. Chaney of Manitou Beach, Michigan; a step-brother, Dave (Linda) Keith of Jefferson City, MO; a step-sister, Mary Ellen White of New Bremen, Ohio; a step-sister-in-law, Helen Keith of New Knoxville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 3 step-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald L. Chaney; two step-brothers, Robert and Milo Keith; two sisters-in-law, Judy Chaney and Nancy Chaney; and four nieces and nephews. Connie was a 1959 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and had been employed at Central Mutual Insurance Company in Van Wert. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. . She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and occasional chauffeur for children and grandchildren. There will be grave side service at 10:00 a.m., November 5, 2016 at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery with Pastor Randy Bevington of the Ohio City Community Church of God officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bridge Hospice in Findlay (1900 S. Main Street, Findlay 45840) or Cancer Patient Services (1800 N. Blanchard Street, Suite 120, Findlay, Ohio 45840).
