Clinton R. Galloway, 63, died peacefully and surrounded by his family at 11:221 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the home of his daughter in Tampa, Florida. He was born on June 6, 1950, in Van Wert, the son of the late Myrna Rose (Young) Galloway and Thomas Eugene Galloway who survives. Clinton had resided in North Fort Myers, Florida for the past ten years. Family survivors include two sons, Jayme Galloway of Columbus, Ohio, Chris Galloway of North Fort Myers, Fl; four daughters, Sheri (Dave) Daeger of Van Wert, Deb (Norm) Dettrow of Van Wert, Ohio, Angie Galloway of Tampa, FL, and Jessica (Todd) Ellis of Troy, Ohio; one brother, Mark (Penny) Price of Payne, Ohio; four sisters, Stephonie (Jon) Stewart of Crossville, TN, Kim (Woody) Woodard of North Fort Myers, FL, Tammy (Tom) Bartz of Grover Hill, and Bernetta (Scott) Geise of Fort Jennings, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Nick, Noah and Logan Daeger, Stacie (Matt) Couch, Brad (Macy Crooks) Dettrow, Liam Vazquez, Gabby & Gavin Ellis; and four great grandchildren, Madison, Landen and Mackenzie Couch, and Mylee Dettrow. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tonya Bigham. Clint was a former Chrysler employee, and worked as an engineer in the automotive industry for over 30 years. He was a member of Moose Lodge #2417, Buck Head Ridge, Okeechobee, FL. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He was a beloved father with wonderful smile and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Robinson of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours are 1 - 3 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Preferred memorials are to the Family or LifePath Hospice of Tampa, Florida.
