Christine G. (Allen) Bashore, 52, of Convoy, passed away at 5:25 p.m. on November 30, 2016 at Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family. Chris was born on May 5, 1964 in Lima, Ohio to Larry and Sue Allen. She married her husband, Forest (Frosty) Bashore on September 11, 1982. Chris enjoyed working as a dental assistant in the Van Wert community for over 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Convoy. Her greatest accomplishments were her two children, Zachary and Emily. Chris loved going on boat rides, shopping and dining out with her girlfriends, and traveling to Florida. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved her dog, Lucy. She was a very sweet, caring, and generous person and was the best friend anyone could ask for. Family survivors include her husband, Frosty Bashore; her two children, Zachary Bashore and Emily (Rylan) Yackey; her mother, Sue Allen; her two sisters, Linda Renner and Karen Barnes; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Rowena Bashore; and her nieces and nephews and their children, Mark (Beth) Barnes, Matt Barnes, Heather (Chad) Mullen, and Michelle (Shaun) Meeks. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Allen. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 1-4 p.m., at the Convoy Community Building. Preferred memorials are to the Van Wert County Humane Society and the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center. Here I am Lord, Is it I, Lord?
