Cheryl Ann Clark, 59 of Scott, Ohio, died at 9:00 p.m., Tuesday August 19, 2014 at her residence in Scott, Ohio. She was born on October 6, 1954 in Paulding, Ohio, the daughter of the late David and Mildred (Rohlf) Strawser. On August 6, 1991, she married Richard Clark, who survives at the residence. Cheryl had worked in the post offices in Scott and Middle Point, school bus driver for Wayne Trace and Paulding Schools, and had worked at the Time Bulletin in Van Wert. She had been Mayor for 8 years and a 1972 graduate of Lincolnview High School. Family survivors include her husband, Richard; children, Darren & Jason Blockberger of Defiance, Adam (Lisa) Blockberger of Middle Point, April Clark (Josh Brown) of Convoy, and Kyle Clark of Scott; two brothers, Gale Strawser of Troy, Ohio and Gerald (Etta) Strawser of Van Wert; four sisters, Pat (Roger) Gates of Hoagland, Indiana, Sandy (Jim) Altenburger, Alice O'Daffer, and Ruby Hollingsworth, all of Van Wert; half-sister, Graceann (Melvin) Baker; grandchildren, Aleigha Brown, Chloe, Corbin, & Colton Blockberger; and many nieces and nephews. No services or visitation is planned.
