Cai Davon Evans, 20, of Van Wert, died at 12:02 a.m., Tuesday at Van Wert County Hospital. He was born on January 29, 1994, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Corey and Christy (Hoblet) Evans of Van Wert. Other family survivors include his grandparents, Ruth and George Groves, Paula and Dave Sinning, and Tom and Rea Ellen Hoblet all of Van Wert; and his great grandmother, Ruth Hoblet of Van Wert. Cai was a 2012 gradute of Van Wert High School - ECOT. He enjoyed shooting billiard pool with his father and he had a very large love of music. He loved family and friends, especially his cousin, and his dog Mojo. There will be a private memorial service for the family.
