Brett Steven Gaskill, 34 of Van Wert, died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on September 15, 1984 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Doug E. and Carol A. (Reinhart) Gaskill, both surviving in Van Wert.

Family survivors include his parents, Doug & Carol; and brother, Travis T. Gaskill of Van Wert, Ohio.

Brett had worked in welding and construction.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, November 1, 11:00 a.m. at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Mike Waldron.  Bury will follow the service at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Convoy, Ohio.  Visitation is  from 9-11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
