Brenda Sue (Norling) Jerome, 62 of Van Wert, died at 9:00 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2017 at the VanCrest of Van Wert. She was born in December 21, 1954 in Paulding County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Darwin "Doc" & Viola (Tipsword) Sherry. Brenda had formerly driven bus for Thomas Edison Schools. She was a graduate of Paulding High School; and a member of New Life Fellowship Church in Van Wert. She is survived by her son, Robert A. (Angela) Norling of Paulding, Ohio; two grandsons, Andy Norling & Bailey Norling; granddaughter, Jessica Norling; three great grandsons, Jayden, Waylan, & Gage Norling; three brothers, Darwin (Pam) Sherry of Hixson, TN, Jess (Janet) Sherry of Van Wert, and Larry Sherry of Defiance; and sister, Bonnie Sherry of Defiance. She was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Lee Sherry; and sister, Dorothy Goeltzenleuchter. Memorial services are scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 4:00 p.m. at New Life Fellowship (634 N. Washington Street) in Van Wert, officiated by Pastor Alan Andres. Visitation is from 2-4 p.m., Sunday at the church.
