Robert O. "Bob" Klinger, 79 of rural Convoy, died at 9:59 a.m., Wednesday December 17, 2014 at VanCrest of Convoy. He was born on July 12, 1935 in Tully Township, Van Wert County, the son of the late Florence May (Osborn) and Michael George Klinger. On June 5, 1955, he married Erma E. (Moorman), who survives in Convoy. Bob retired from RCA in Marion, Indiana and farmed. Family survivors include his wife Erma; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Craig and Nancy J. Klinger of Convoy; sister, Martha May (Victor E. "Jug" ) Andrews of Chattanooga, Ohio; grandchildren, Angie (Josh) Yado, Beth Ann (Phil) Wells, Robert Craig (Amanda) Klinger, Jr., Summer Klinger, Ricky Collier and Daniel Collier; six great grandchildren, Sierra Klinger, Kaydence Autumn Beachy, Lilyana Yado, Peyton Yado, Emerson Wells, and Korie Klinger. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruth Marie (Klinger) Collier; two grandchildren, Amanda Joann Klinger and Autumn Dawn Collier; brother Michael William Klinger; and two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Yocum and Nancy Jane Whitten. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 19, 6:00 p.m. at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Wayne Kargas and Pastor Phil Wells. Visitation is Friday from 4-6 p.m. Interment is at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Convoy, Ohio.
