Billie Jean Krugh, 91 of Van Wert, died at 11:40 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.

She was born in Van Wert, Ohio on December 29, 1927, the daughter of the late Doyle Elmer and Pearl R. (Handwerk) Brubaker.  On January 7, 1951, she married Wilbur Lowell Krugh, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1995.

Billie Jean was a homemaker.  She was a 1945 graduate of Van Wert and member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert.

Family survivors include her son, Terry J. Krugh of Dayton; and daughter, Jill Ann Krugh of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Evan Krugh.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 10:00 a.m. at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Chris Farmer of First United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery in Union Township, Mercer County, Ohio.  Visitation is one hour ahead of the service on Thursday.
