Betty Eileen Boley, 98, of Van Wert passed away Monday morning, July 29, 2024, at VanCrest Nursing Home of Van Wert.

She was born on August 27, 1925, in York Township, Van Wert County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ira Von Overholt and Louisa Belle (Ralston) Overholt. On September 28, 1946, she married Carl Eugene Boley and he preceded her in death on October 17, 1979.

Family survivors include her two children, Rick Boley of Van Wert and Rhonda (Charlie) Lowe of Van Wert; three grandchildren, Curtis Boley of Columbus, Erica (Robert) Mefferd of Convoy and Nick (Shannon) Boley of Van Wert; eight great grandchildren

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Joe Boley; a daughter-in-law, Diana S. Boley and two brothers, Lowell E. Overholt and Robert E. Overholt.

At this time there will be a private grave side service for family only.
