Berneice Young, 100 of Van Wert died at 1:48 p.m., Monday November 18, 2013 at the C.H.P.-Inpatient Hospice Center of Van Wert, Ohio. She was born on August 26, 1913 in Willshire, Ohio, the daughter of the late Franny M. (Krick) and Fred Stetler. She married Harley H. Young, who preceded her in death on November 17, 1989. Berneice was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert and a 1931 graduate of Van Wert High School. Family survivors included her son and daughter-in-law, Bob & Sue Young of Van Wert; daughter and son-in-law, Joy & Carl Demidovich of Van Wert; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 7 siblings; son, Charles Young, and four grandchildren. Private family services are scheduled at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Paul W.
