Anna Kathryn Clouse, 87, of Ohio City, passed away at 3:55 p.m., Tuesday at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on July 27, 1925, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late William Victor and Esther Edna (Gause) Hurless. On July 27, 1946, she married Kenneth Earl Clouse and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2008. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Crystal June Book. Family survivors include two sons, Larry Earl (Donna) Clouse of Van Wert and Carl Duane (Lori) Clouse of Ohio City; a daughter, Paula June (Dennis) Felver of Hamilton, IN; five grandchildren, Nathan (Katie Hilden) Clouse, Kevin (Jane Schlegel) Felver, Josh (Kelly Crosson) Clouse, Christopher Clouse, and Kim (John Reitz) Eickholt; and three great grandchildren, Cora Rose Clouse, Griffin Joshua Clouse, and Liam Dean Felver. Mrs. Clouse was a 1943 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and a long time member of the Ohio City Community Church of God. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 348 in Ohio City. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 4 - 8 p.m., and one hour prior to the services on Saturday morning. Preferred memorials are to the Ohio City Community Church of God or the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center.
