Allan E. Rosendahl, 67, died at 8:20 a.m., Friday, at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. He was born on August 15, 1949, in Van Wert, the son of Phyllis Margaret (Shaw) Rosendahl who died on November 15, 2013, and Harold L. Rosendahl who survives in Van Wert. Other family survivors include his son, Robert Rosendahl of Waldo, Maine; a sister, Cathleen Edgell of Bluffton, Indiana; two aunts, Yvonne McCord of Tennessee and Alice Carpenter of Charlotte, NC; two nieces, Jessica Francis of Van Wert and Andrea Strong of Whiteland, IN; and number cousins. Allan was a 1968 graduate of Van Wert High School. He had worked at Dickman Bros., Conrad Truck Stop, and Vancrest Health Care Center. A memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 14, 2016, at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Scott Campbell officiating. There will be calling one hour prior to the memorial service also at the Church. Interment will follow at a later time on Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
