Maxine Amerman Obituary

Maxine L. Amerman passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at her home in League City, Texas.

A long-time resident of Van Wert, Ohio, Maxine was born on September 25, 1927 in Van Wert County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clarence H. and Alma Opal Wallick. She married Edward V. Amerman on September 27, 1947, who preceded her in death.

Other survivors include two children, Diane (Eric) Couch of Dickinson, Texas and Mark (Sharon) Amerman of San Leon, Texas; two sisters, Joan Horney of Van Wert and Jean Weible of Defiance, Ohio; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, Ohio on October 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon at Kingsley United Methodist Church, 15482 Mendon Road, rural Van Wert, Ohio, for all friends and family to gather and reminisce. Those unable to attend the memorial service are invited to the lunch

Preferred memorials are to Kingsley United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
