Kenneth R Miller

Kenneth R. Miller, 94, formerly of Van Wert, died Monday evening at Country Inn Enhanced Living near Paulding.

He was born on August 14, 1924, in Paulding County, the son of the late Russell and Anna (Wilcox) Miller. On October 24, 1941, he married the former Marjorie Juanita Wortman who also preceded him in death on March 21, 2018.

Family members include two daughters, Betty (Doug) Dunno of Fort Wayne and Nancy Miller of Scott; a son, Larry (Deborah) Miller of Van Wert; a daughter-in-law, Marty Miller of Fort Wayne; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by a son, Leland Miller; two brothers, Keith and Ralph Miller; and a sister, Alice Carpenter Wright.

He was a farmer in addition to working at the Van Wert Waste Water plant, mowing yards for many years, and operating K&M Body Shop in Van Wert. With his wife, Kenneth was an active member of Victory Church and they rode with the Christian Motorcycle Club. He was a faithful soul winner for the Lord. He also enjoyed drag racing.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Victory Church in Van Wert.
