Ilo Grubaugh Obituary

Ilo Mae (Wyandt) Grubaugh, 95 died December 29, 2019. Ilo was born on December 19, 1924 in Van Wert County to the late David Franklin Wyandt and Lulu May (Newton) Wyandt. She married Clarence A. Grubaugh on February 10, 1946. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2009.

Surviving her are her two sons, Timmothy L. Grubaugh of Convoy and Marc J. (Cindy) Grubaugh of Convoy, a grandson, Kameron E. Grubaugh of Fort Drum, New York and a granddaughter, Molly A. Grubaugh of Kansas City, Kansas also her twin brother, Milo C. Wyandt of Van Wert.

Ilo worked 26 years in the office at the Van Wert Manufacturing Company and five years for Dr. H. D. Underwood. She was a life-time member of the St. Marks Lutheran Church and belonged to the “Fifty Year Plus Members Club”. She gave many years of service there at the church. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary and W. O. T. M. for many years.

Preceding her in death were three sisters; Ethel Wyandt, Alice Keith and Esther Stemen and five brothers; Harold, Gerald, Paul, Franklin and Doyt Wyandt.

There will be no viewing at this time and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Taylor Cemetery, Scott.
